Assist your professional dog sled musher in hitching and harnessing your dog team of Alaskan Racing Huskies through the Soo Valley Reserve. You will view stunning landscape in this traditional Canadian experience.If trail conditions are suitable, try driving the team yourself,accompanied by your guide. This is an opportunity you will never forget! PLEASE NOTE: The maximum weight for each dogsled is 450 lbs. Parties weighing more than 450 lbs. should book multiple dogsleds.
Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final. Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center. Q: Are there places to take pictures? Operating Season: Tours begin in late November and run through April (weather permitting). Dog Sledding Trails: Tour destinations are subject to trail and weather conditions. Tour Duration: 2 hours with the dogs. Total tour time about 3 hours. Minimum Age: 2 years old. Children must be well dressed, warm, and be able to be outside in winter conditions for the full duration of the tour. Note: All participants are required to read and sign a release of liability, and parents or guardians must sign for anyone under the age of 19.
Included in Tour Cost:
~ Equipment: dog sled team. What to Bring: Warm winter clothing, gloves and snow boots. Backcountry Advisory: Backcountry sports activities are not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, suffer from back or neck pain, heart or respiratory distress. If in doubt, consult your physician prior to participation. Tour does include hotel pick-up and drop-off. PLEASE NOTE: The maximum weight for each dogsled is 450 lbs.
